Project Description

Students in this class will explore math through puzzles and projects. Challenges presented to students will draw on their strengths and build intuitions for more complex ideas. Open ended questions will provide a framework on which to build problem solving skills as well as introduce troublesome topics in an intuitive and approachable manner. Classes will tackle a variety of topics including: number lines, skip counting, arrays, factors, fractions, decimals, percents, and geometry. These topics will help students lay the foundation for algebraic understanding in future math classes. Self-Pay: $250, Charter-Pay $270
